Hi! I’m Erica —

Over the years, my work has centered on three things:

– Designing at scale
– Developing inclusive teams
– Creating real-world impact

I’ve led product design across platforms used by millions, built early-career programs that expand access, and partnered with nonprofits to increase equity and access in youth sports. Along the way, I’ve learned how to balance high-velocity execution with long-term cultural health — and that clarity, care, and accountability are what make teams thrive.

I’m a champion and mentor of underserved communities and believe in the servant model of transformative leadership. I’ve mentored through programs like Built By Girls, co-led a global employee resource group, and offer free coaching sessions to designers navigating growth or transition.

I lead with purpose and build with intention — whether I’m scaling a product, growing a team, or launching a community initiative.

Outside of work, I serve on the executive board of WISE (Women in Sports and Events) and on the board of the Oakland Girls Softball League, where I lead fundraising, partnerships, and access initiatives. I’m a former creative director of Hyphen magazine, a former Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area board advisor, and a proud alum of LEAP Exceeds and Hashtag Sports Creators of Color Ally program.

These days, I’m focused on work that blends product, culture, and community — and grounded in the belief that how we build matters just as much as what we ship.
